Test your internet connection speed - download, upload, and latency measurements
Click to begin testing your connection speed
How to use: Comprehensive internet speed test modeled after Speedtest.net/Ookla with detailed performance metrics. Select Speed Unit (Mbps for standard internet speeds, MB/s for file transfer speeds - 8 Mbps = 1 MB/s). Click "Start Speed Test" to begin 22-second comprehensive analysis. Results include: Download/Upload Speed (average, min, max values showing connection consistency), Ping (latency in ms - <20ms excellent, 20-50ms good, 50-100ms average, >100ms poor for gaming/video calls), Jitter (ping variation - lower = more stable), Idle Latency (ping without network load), Download/Upload Latency (latency under load - bufferbloat indicator), Packet Loss (<0.5% acceptable, >1% problematic for streaming/gaming), Connection Type (Fiber/Cable/DSL/4G/5G detection), Server Location & Distance, ISP & IP Address. Typical speeds: Fiber 200-950 Mbps down/up, Cable 100-500/10-50 Mbps, DSL 10-100/1-10 Mbps, 4G LTE 20-100/5-30 Mbps, 5G 200-1200/50-300 Mbps. Note: Demonstration with simulated results. For real measurements, use speedtest.net, fast.com, or your ISP's official speed test.
